"You were fabulous! You read it with a nice pace and paused to ask questions. It was perfect! They were pumped up after the presentation. I cannot thank you enough. They loved the book and your positive message."

" DUUUUDE!!! LOVED IT!!! So cool that you wrote and illustrated, and loved that it wasn't just a one and done effort, Barry kept getting the SMACK. An upgrade on the "Little Engine that Could". Leaves littles with the message and images that things worth having are worth fighting for. At the risk of sounding maternal, SUPER proud of you Man!!! Will be reading to my Nieces next time I babysit. And will most definitely be purchasing a copy when it comes out. Congrats!!!🤓💪💕."

"So Barry tried, and tried, and kept trying. When he fell, he expressed anger, a typical reaction that kids can relate to, but that's okay. The most important part of VROOM! Barry, Kari and the Power Boost, Barry picked himself back up and kept trying."

"You did a wonderful job. The kids really enjoyed your book. Later in the day an issue can up with one of the boys. A student recited what was said during your storytelling to him and he decided to try again. It was such a positive moment filled with kindness. This wouldn’t have been possible without you."

"LOVED IT! After you finish VROOM! Barry, Kari and the Power Boost by William Wilberforce, discuss with your child or class if there was ever a time someone laughed at them for failing and how they handled it. Or, what have they practiced at really hard?"

"The kids LOVED this read aloud! I have not seen them so engaged in so long during story time. They all shared things they’re working to get better at, how to treat people when they’re down, and related to the story! I also loved how Barry really had to work over an extended time and was not instantly gratified with results."
